Norky's Sweet Potato Casserole

My Mom's recipe:

3 C. mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 C. Granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. melted butter

Topping:

1 C. packed brown sugar
1/3 C. all purpose flour
1/3 C. soft butter
1 C. chopped pecans

Mix together ingredients and put in a 1 1/2 qt or 8 inch casserole dish.
Cover with topping that has been crumbled with a fork.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Double recipe for a large crowd.
